Staff is always friendly, prices are excellent and are going for a good cause. The place is always packed with great finds and nice furniture. Inventory is always changing so go back often. The only thing you’ll leave needing is a bigger house.

I’m a social worker, crisis advocate, or pastoral staff. How can I refer someone to your program?
That’s easy! Simply email us their name, stating that they receive services from your organization or you believe there is a need, and we’ll take it from there! They’ll receive a credit from us to choose things they need for their home, and have a volunteer personally shopping with them.
Do you buy furniture? Do you pick up furniture?
Sorry, we are not a consignment store. We rely 100% on the generous donations of our community.
Normally, we do pick up furniture (there is a fuel fee cost to this service) – from the garage or right inside the entryway. Currently, we are looking for a new moving truck, however. Feel free to contact us if you’d like to be notified when this service comes back. Otherwise, you are welcome to bring it to us during any of our open hours Thurs-Sat.
How do you support our local community?
Other than our robust referral program that roughly 60% of our donations support, we also:
- We provide furniture delivery and pick up services locally, which is a game changer for many low or fixed income households
- Our volunteer program levels the playing field – everyone receives the opportunity to accrue in-store credit, regardless of background. They can also receive letters of recommendation for jobs, scholarships, and courts, if applicable
- We can provide job training and job referencing
- We are a networked community service provider with several area schools, colleges, and courts
- We host many free public events, including a summer series of Free Day April-September, classes, networking, and even fun photo opportunities
What Items do you accept for donation? Is there anything you can’t accept?
If it helps someone set up a home, chances are we accept it! Furniture, decor, household…even books and toys!
Items MUST be clean and free of damage – including rips, stains, fading, cracked/broken/missing pieces, animal hair, or smells. Volunteers will reject anything that has these indicators.
Specific items we cannot accept: mattresses, box springs, sofa/hida-beds, exercise equipment, entertainment centers, recalled children’s items, car seats, and pianos.
Are you open to the public?
Yes! Purchases from our local community is what keeps our lights on so we can be there for those experiencing crisis. The person shopping in-store next to you might even be a referral – someone in crisis. We try to allow everyone to have a similar shopping experience, whether you’re buying with money or buying with our assistance. The fun part is when a former referral comes back a year or two later and is a public shopper.
The assistance we provide is only made possible by our public shoppers, our donors, and our volunteers. Thank you!
